SCIO Opportunity Fund ('SOF') is an open-ended fund that brings SCIO's award winning private asset-based finance strategy to professional investors. SOF targets capital appreciation by primarily investing in privately originated and privately negotiated asset-based loans to European borrowers. SOF is actively managed and employs a flexible approach that enables the portfolio manager to take advantage of prevailing market conditions as they change over time. SOF may also invest in various public credit products including (but not limited to) debt obligations, loans and securitised debt. SOF can also use derivatives to mitigate risk currency and credit risks. SOF does not employ leverage to enhance returns.
