The Fund aims to achieve a return of 300 basis points above the ICE BofA SOFR Overnight Rate Index (or the equivalent for each currency share class) over a 3-year period, while seeking preservation of capital. Payden & Rygel Global Limited (the "Investment Manager") will actively select, purchase and sell securities with the aim of meeting the investment objectives of the Fund. In order to achieve its objective the Fund will invest predominantly in a wide variety of fixed and floating rate investment grade and below investment grade debt instruments and income-producing securities traded on regulated markets worldwide, including money market securities. The Fund may also invest up to 15% in equities and equity related instruments. The Fund may use derivatives with the aim of managing interest rate and currency risk more efficiently. The Fund may also use derivatives for both hedging purposes and for taking investment positions. These may include short positions where the Fund seeks to benefit from the sale of an asset that it does not physically own.
