The Fund aims to increase the value of your shares through a combination of growth and income from investments primarily in investment grade sovereign and corporate bonds (debt securities). The Fund invests primarily in investment grade debt securities issued by governments and agencies from OECD countries (the Organisation of Economic Cooperation and Development), and investment grade debt securities issued by corporations, which have their head office or exercise an overriding part of their economic activity in OECD countries. The Fund uses quantitative analysis and discretionary judgement on political, regulatory or market events to identify opportunities across global bonds assets and currencies. Investment selections result from a framework of inputs including the Sub-Investment Managers' (or the Manager where applicable) view on the economy, fundamental and quantitative research and analysis on sector valuations and analysis to identify issuers that are believed to be undervalued and have strong credit quality. Investment grade securities are securities highly rated by one or more rating agency (ie Baa3, BBB or above). In addition to the Fund's exposure to currencies and interest rates inherent in its investments in debt securities, the Fund may also have significant exposures to currencies and interest rates through the use of financial derivative instruments. The Fund promotes environmental and social characteristics pursuant to Article 8 of SFDR.
