Der Fonds verfolgt einen Passivmanagement- bzw. Indexierungsanlageansatz, indem er Wertpapiere physisch erwirbt und versucht, die Wertentwicklung des Bloomberg MSCI EUR Corporate Liquid Bond Screened Index (der "Index") nachzubilden.
Zur Nachbildung der Wertentwicklung des Index investiert der Fonds in ein auf EUR lautendes Portfolio aus festverzinslichen Unternehmensanleihen mit Investment-Grade-Rating, die soweit wie möglich und praktikabel aus einer repräsentativen Auswahl der im Index enthaltenen Wertpapiere bestehen. Der Index wird aus dem Bloomberg Euro-Aggregate Corporates Index (der "Hauptindex") zusammengestellt, der ein ähnliches Anlageuniversum darstellt, das anschließend von Bloomberg, das unabhängig von Vanguard ist, als Sponsor des Index auf bestimmte ökologische, soziale und Unternehmensführungskriterien (die "ESG-Kriterien") geprüft wird. |
